What is BCAC ?
The Business Coalition Against Corruption (BCAC), established in February 2011, is a joint initiative of the Business Council for Africa (BCA) Cameroon and the CONAC, GICAM, ECAM, TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL. The aim of this public private partnership is to support the Cameroonian Government in improving business climate and achieving its ambition to be an emerging economy by 2035.

What are the BCAC’s core activities?
The BCAC offers free training and advice on “why and how to create a culture of integrity whithin a compagny”, and provides a platform for sharing best practices.
How is it governed?
The Steering Committee is chaired by the Business Council for Africa (BCA) Cameroon and includes: British High Commission in Cameroon; National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC); Transparency International Cameroon; Guinness Cameroon; Dana Petroleum Cameroon.
The Steering Committee defines the strategy, sets programs, monitors the budget and guides the Project Manager.

How to join BCAC initiative?
Attend a BCAC training session and demonstrate a genuine desire to promote a culture of ethics and compliance within your company. Membership is free for small and medium size companies with fewer than 150 employees. there is a membership fee of 1, 000, 000 FCFA for larger companies.
